Research on Development Models of Ancient Villages based on Community Management——A Case Study of World Cultural Heritage-Xidi Village and Hongcun Village

The tourism development of ancient villages as world heritage sites has been paid close attention since it involves a balance between the development and protection of tourism attractions.Taking ancient villages in Southern Anhui-Xidi village and Hongcun village as the case,this paper aims to investigate the tourism development process as well as the present situation and summarize their respective development models.Then,from the perspective of sustainable development,the paper makes a comparison between the economical and social influences brought by the tourism development models of the two ancient villages.To realize sustainable development of ancient villages as world heritages,community-based developing model should be carried out.Meanwhile,enterprise operation should be taken into consideration so as to explore an appropriate developing model on the basis of local practice.
