Abstract
Objective To explore the change of the levels of serum C reactive protein(CRP),tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α)and vascular endothelial growth factor(VEGF) in patients with diabetic nephropathy(DN).Methods Sixty-three patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus(T2DM) were divided into T2DM group(n=35) and DN group(n=28) according to whether complicated with renal damage, and thirty healthy people were chose as normal control group. The levels of serum CRP,TNF-α and VEGF were detected and compared in three groups. Results The levels of serum CRP,TNF-α and VEGF in T2DM group and DN group were significantly higher than those in normal control group, the differences were statistically significant(P0.05).The levels of serum CRP,TNF-α and VEGF in DN group were significantly higher than those in T2DM group, the differences were statistically significant(P0.05).Conclusion CRP,TNF-α and VEGF may be related to the occurrence and development of DN.
