Abstract

Objective To observe the effects of postoperative analgesia with lornoxicam on IL-2,IL-6 and IL-10 of patients undergoing esophagectomy. Methods Twenty-four patients undergoing esophagectomy were randomly divided into two groups acording to the patients-controlled intravenous analgesia.L group(Lornoxicam group,n=12): Lornoxicam 40 mg+Droperidol 5 mg;M group(Morphine group,n=12): Morphine 40 mg+Droperidol 5 mg.To observe the VAS(visual analogue scale) of patients at the postoperative time of 4,24,48 h and test the expression levels of plasma IL-2,IL-6,IL-10 and TNF-α before the intubation(T1),extubation(T2)and the postoperative time of 24 h(T3),48 h(T4).Results There was no significant difference between the two groups in the postoperative VAS and the levels of the preoperative IL-2,IL-6,IL-10 and TNF-α at various time points(P0.05).There was no significant difference between the two groups in the levels of the postoperative TNF-α at various time points compared with the preoperative(P0.05).M group: the levels of the postoperative IL-2 reduced significantly at various time points compared with the preoperative(P0.05),the levels of the postoperative IL-6 IL-10 increased significantly at various time points compared with the preoperative(P0.05).L group: the levels of the postoperative IL-2 reduced significantly at various time points compared with the preoperative(P0.05);the levels of the postoperative IL-6,IL-10 increased significantly at the time point of T1,T2 compared with the Preoperative(P0.05).L group compared with M group: the level of the IL-10 reduced significantly at the time point of T4(P0.05).Conclusion The effect of postoperative analgesia with lornoxicam on the esophagectomy is similar with the morphine, but the effect on the immune function is superior to the morphine.
