Comparison of China,Japan,and Korea's Guidelines of East Asian Community

China,Japan and Korea reached a consensus on the establishment of East Asian Community,which is not as promising as expectation.The guidelines of the three countries about East Asian Community are very different.Japan wants to get rid of dependence on the United States,to deal with China's rise and to improve their competitiveness and influence in East Asia.Korea wants to get rid of sandwich status between China and Japan.According to the harmonious world concept,China wants to have an external peaceful environment to develop.Although China,Japan,and Korea have a deep understanding of the meaning and role on East Asian community,the conflicting views are obstructing practical cooperation.In addition,the issues of the territorial disputes,ownership disputes,U.S.factor and so on are all obstacles.Therefore,properly handling the relationship of China,Japan,Korea and U.S.,and strengthening trilateral cooperation is the key to promote the development of East Asian Community.
