The Characteristic Development of Cultural Industry in the Minority Districts

In the period of Eleventh Five-Year the cultural industry shows a rapid growth,however,the regional imbalance in the development of cultural industry has existed throughout the country.Although minorities possess splendid cultural resources,the development of cultural industry is comparatively backward and the proportions of cultural industry in GDP are much lower in the minority areas than those in other areas.At present,culture industries such as tourism industry,performing arts industry,arts and crafts industry and exhibitions industry are beginning to take shape in the minority areas,and the ways of cultural resources-industrialization are being explored.However,its operations cannot well express spirit of the ethnic culture in the process of industrialization,so that culture industries are not developed in a sustainable manner,which shows that the vital direction in the cultural development characterized by the minority distinctiveness has not formed.Thus,local governments should guide the development of cultural industries,determine the development model of cultural industries and nurture the growth of cultural industries with minority characteristics on the basis of cultural ecological points of views.
