Abstract

Diversion of Goupitan Hydropower Station was divided into three diversion periods in design.In the preliminary engineering period,adopted diversion scheme is the method of diversion around year that damming up is by RCC cofferdams and discharging is by diversion tunnels.And in middle and later periods,the scheme is method of diversion around year that damming up is temporarily by dam body,and discharging is by combining diversion tunnels,spilling tunnel,and diversion bottom orifices,empty orifices,spilling middle and up orifices on the dam body.The preliminary diversion standard is adopted ten-year cycle flood in design,the corresponding flow is 13,500 m~3/s.There are two diversion tunnels on the left bank,floor elevations of the inlets are 430 m and 450 m respectively,and one on the right bank,floor elevation is 430 m.The grade of the diversion structures is Ⅳ.
