Analysis of factors affecting the prognosis of chronic severe hepatitis cases

Abstract

Objective To analyze the factors affecting the prognosis of chronic severe hepatitis B cases.Methods There 120 patients with severe hepatitis B were seleceted and divided into improved group and death group.The factors affecting the prognosis including age,levels of serum total bilirubin(TBil),prothrombin activity(PTA),cholesterol(CHO),albumin(ALB) and complications were analyzed.Results The prognosis of chronic severe hepatitis B was correlated with age,levels of TBil,PTA,CHO,ALB and complications.Conclusion The age,levels of TBil,PTA,CHO,ALB and complications are important factors affecting prognosis of hepatitis B cases.
