Abstract
Objective To explore the relationship between microalbuminuria (MALB),MALB/urinary creatinine (Cr) ratio and glycosylated hemoglobin (HbA1c),duration of diabetes in patients with type 2 diabetic mellitus. Methods MALB was determined by using immune turbidimetry,Cr was detected by using enzyme method, and MALB/Cr ratio was calculated. Results The detection rate of diabetic nephropathy was positively correlated to duration and HbA1c. Conclusion Urinary MALB and MALB/Cr ratio are sensitive and reliable lab-oratory indicators for early diagnosis of diabetic nephropathy.
