Abstract

Objective To explore the clinical value of plasma BNP in the diagnosis of heart failure after acute myocardial infarction.Methods We retrospectively analyzed the data of 75 patients with acute myocardial infarction,compared BNP value before and after treatment among different cardiac function groups,and between low blood pressure and heart failure group and low blood pressure and insufficient blood capacity group.Results Patients in different cardiac function group have different BNP values,the worse the heart function,the higher the BNP.BNP value declined obviously after treatment.BNP values of patients with low blood pressure and heart failure were higher than patients with low blood pressure and insufficient blood capacity.Conclusion BNP can be as a indicator for early diagnosis of heart failure after acute myocardial infarction,and also can be used in evaluating the therapeutic effects.
