Yiwulv Mountain and Liao culture

Yiwulv Mountain,one of the five famous town mountains in our country,shows the ancestors' gratitude and respect to nature.The origin of nine states and their correspondence with nine famous mountains as well as the evolution of the five mountains and the five towns reflect the position and influence of Yiwulv Mountain as a town mountain.Khitans read,drew pictures,built hody,cultivated soul,renovated and built tombs,got themselves buried,visited tombs,went for nomadic hunting, dealt with government affairs in Yiwulv Mountain.In Liao dynasty,Xianzhou and Qianzhou were set to strengthen the local government.Yiwulv Mountain witnessed historically Khitan's Liao culture transmission and its integration with Central Plains culture.Yiwulv Mountain crystallizes many cultural factors of Central Plains and reflects important characteristics of Khitan Liao culture.
