Observation of Acupoint Application in Nursing of Patients with Chronic Bronchitis

Objective To explore the therapy of acupoint application when nursing chronic bronchitis patients.Methods 150 chronic bronchitis patients in our hospital were randomly divided into two groups,50 cases in the control group and 100 cases in the observation group.The control group received routine nursing while the observation group adopted routine nursing with acupoint application.The improvement of two groups in terms of cough,phlegm,asthma symptoms after treatment and the satisfaction of patients as well were compared to evaluate the therapeutic effect.Results The total effective rate of the observation group was 91%(91/100) while the rate of the control group was 76%(38/50).The total effective rates of the two groups were compared(P0.05) and the difference was statistically significant.The total satisfaction rate of the observation group was 88%,and the rate of the control group was 56%.There were statistically significant differences in results(P0.05).Conclusion Nursing combined with acupoint sticking therapy in treating chronic bronchitis improves cough,phlegm,asthma symptoms effectively and its curative effect is better with high satisfaction of patients.
