Abstract
Objective: To study the C-erbB-2 protein expression in LN(-) breast cancer, and analyze the relationship between its expression and prognosis of breast cancer. Methods: By means of immunohistochemical S-P method, 49 none of lymph node metastasis breast cancer specimens in praraffin sections were examined for the expression of C-erbB-2. Results: 23 out of 49 casesof breast cancer showed over-expression C-erbB-2 with a positive rate of 46.93%. The over expression of C-erbB-2 was correlated with regional recurrence,distant metastasis, lower total survival ,lower 5 years survival.and free survival. Conclusion: LN(-) patient with overexpression of C-erbB-2 may be used for predicting the prognosis of breast cancer.\;
