Clinical value of HbAlc in diabetes diagnosis

Abstract

Objective To explore the clinical value of HbAlc in diabetes diagnosis and treatment.Methods 127 cases of diabetics were taken as the observation group,while 118 cases of healthy persons from the physical examination center were taken as the normal group.The levels of fasting plasma glucose(FPG) and glycated hemoglobin(HbA1c) were determined according to the rule procedures.Results Both of FPG and HbA1c in observation group were higher than those of the normal group.Conclusion The determination of HbAlc could reflect glycemic control level,and it has important value in diabetes diagnosis and treatment.
