Abstract

Objective:To investigate the clinical effects of hyperoxialiquid in the treatment of severe head injury.Methods:66 patients with severe head injury were radomly divided into hyperoxialiquid treatment group(34 cases) and control group(32 cases). The changes of Glasgow coma score(GCS) were assessed and the clinical effects in two groups were observed respectively. Results:After treatment, the GCS was 8.5±1.2 in the treatment group and 6.6±1.9 in the control group, the curative effect of the treatment group was obviously superior to that of the control group. The good rate of prognosis was 61.76% in the treatment group, and obviously superior to 34.38% in the control group. The case fatality rate was 23.52% in the treatment group, and significantly lower than 46.88% in the control group, with a very significant difference between two groups(P0.01).Conclusion:Early hyperoxialiquid therapy can significantly alleviate the traumatic degree in patients with severe head injury, improve the good rate of prognosis and reduce the case fatality rate,it is a new method for the adjuvant treatment of brain injury.
