The protection effect of continuous veno-venous hemofiltration to organs of severe patients

ObjectiveTo investigate the protection effect of continuous veno-venous hemofiltration(CVVH) to the functional lesion of the organs in curing the most severe patients.Methods30 severe patients who were diagnosed as patients of multiorgan dysfunction syndrome(MODS) were randomly selected and divided into two groups:the experimental group and the control group.The routine combined therapy and the CVVH therapy were performed in the patients of the experimental group,while the control group only received the routine combined therapy.The change of interleukin-1(IL-1β),tumor necrosis factor(TNF-α),C-reactive protein(CRP) in blood and filter liquor of both groups' patients were observed.Also the function of some important organs such as the heart,the brain,the liver,the kidney and the lung were observed.ResultsThe IL-1β has not changed before and after CVVH therapy(P0.05),while TNF-α and CRP in blood has changed(P0.01).The incidence of the organs' functional impairments occurred in patients of the experimental group was lower than that in patients of the control group,obviously within the period of CVVH therapy(P0.01).ConclusionCVVH can clean the mediators of inflammation and decrease the occurring incidence of organs' functional impairments in severe patients.
