Abstract
This paper gives a brief introduction about the characteristics of the profibus-DP fieldbus technology and the network structure of a control system designed for an electric propulsion test-bed based on the Profibus-DP.The paper also describes the communication protocol between the Profibus-DP master station and the inverter,network configuration,the parameter setting and programming method.The Profibus-DP control system is simple in wiring,convenient in maintenance and reliable in operation.The system meets the design requirements.
