Abstract
Objective To study the relationship between anxiety and family functioning and coping style of college students.Methods A total of 418 students from a university were investigated with the family function assessment scale,coping styles questionnaire,and self-rating anxiety scale.Results(1)The level of anxiety was negatively correlated with the coping style and family functioning.(2)The different anxiety level groups had significant differences in the coping style and family function factors.(3)The family functioning had a direct influence on the anxiety,at the same time had an indirect prediction function through coping style to anxiety levels.Conclusions The family functioning and coping style are predictive factors to anxiety.
