Abstract

Objective To examine the correlation between coping style and anxiety. Method By College Students Coping Style Questionnaire, and Self-Rating Anxiety Scale, a sample of 215 undergraduates were tested. Results A significant correlation between coping style and anxiety was found. Problem solving, shrink back and complaining can be used to forecast the level of anxiety. There are correlation between coping style and the three pathology dimensions of anxiety. Conclusion The correlation between coping style and anxiety is significant. To help undergraduate set up the usage coping event with problem solving, it is useful to decrease the probability of anxiety mind and autonomic nervous system disorder.
