Abstract
Objective:To observe the effect of Qiangji Jianli Recipe(QJP) on the ultrastructure of spleen,thymus and adrenal glands in rats with spleen-kidney deficiency.Methods:Sixty SD rats were randomized into normal control group,model group,QJP group,Youguo Decoction group and Qiangji Yougui Decoction group.Rat models of spleen-kidney deficiency were induced firstly by oral use of the decoction of Radix et Rhizoma Rhei,and then by intraperitoneal injection of hydrocortisone.Af-ter the modeling,the rats in the medication groups were given the corresponding medicine according to the experimental design.At the end of the experiment,the changes of the ultrastructure of spleen,thymus and adrenal glands were compared in all of the groups.Results:Compared with normal control group,the ultrastructure of spleen,thymus and adrenal glands was obviously injured in the model group,but then was improved by the medication of QJP,Youguo Decoction and Qiangji Yougui Decoc-tion.The improvement of organ ultrastructure was obvious in QJP group as compared with that in the other two medication groups.Conclusion:The development of spleen-kidney deficiency from spleen deficiency is moderately advanced.QJP has protective effect on the ultrastrncture of spleen,thymus and adrenal glands in rats with spleen-kidney deficiency.
