Abstract
Aim To explore an effective therapy for medicamentous liver lesion induced by chemotherapy in cancer patients. Methods A total of 56 patients with malignant tumor complicated with medicamentous liver lesion induced by chemotherapy were randomly assigned to receive magnesium isoglycyrrhizinate(treatment group)or diammonium glycyrrhizinate for injection(control group)iv gtt qd for 2 consecutive weeks. Results After the treatment for 2 weeks, levels of alanine aminotransferase(ALT),aspartate aminotransferase(AST)and total bilirubin(TB)decreased in both groups(P0.01),but there was no significant difference between two groups(P0.05).The rate of marked improvement(71.43% in treatment group and 42.86% in control group)was a significant difference(P0.05).Conclusion MgIG is effective in the treatment of the hepatotoxicity caused by chemotherapy in patients with malignant tumors.
