Abstract
Objective To explore an effective therapy for medicamentous liver lesion induced by chemotherapy in cancer patients. Methods A total of 60 patients with malignant tumor complicated with medicamentous liver lesion induced by chemotherapywere randomly assigned to receive magnesium isoglycyrrhizinate and tioprpnin(treatment group) or tioprpnin for injection(control group) iv gtt qd for 2 consecutive weeks. Results After the treatment for 2 weeks, levels of alanine aminotransferase (ALT),aspartate aminotransferase(AST) and total bilirubin (TB) decreased in both groups (P 0.01),but there was no significant difference between two groups(P0.05).The rate of marked improvement(76.7% in treatment group and 50% in control group)was a significant difference (P=0.03). Conclusion Magnesium isoglycyrrhizinate and tioprpnin is effective in the treatment of the hepatotoxicity caused by chemotherapy in patients with malignant tumors.
