Abstract
Objective To study the immunological pathogenesis of gluteal muscle contracture.Methods In 43 children of gluteal muscle contracture and 22 normal controls,peripheral blood T-lymphocytes and its subsets were analysed with flow cytometry.Results The percent of CD4~+ and ratio of CD4~+/CD8~+ in children with gluteal muscle contracture were significantly higher than that in normal controls(P0.05).There were no significant differences in the percent of total T-lymphocytes and CD8~+ between the two groups(P0.05).Conclusion There is disorder of immunological regulation in children with gluteal muscle contracture.Immunologic factor may play an important role in the gluteal muscle contracture.
