The diagnosis and treatment of gluteal muscle contracture in children (35 cases report)

Abstract

Objective:To analyze the clinical characteristic and treatment of gluteal muscle contracture in children.Methods:A total of35patients with gluteal muscle contracture treated from1990to2002were reviewed.Results:All patients underwent gluteal muscle lysis and folˉlowed up for1to10years,there are32cases belong to the excellent grade,other3patients belong to the good grade,no patient belong to the difference grade.Conclusion:Under condiˉtion of in effective with non-operative in the gluteal muscle contracture,Gluteal muscle lysis can markedly improving the patients'symptom.
