Abstract

The new rural development is closely related to the rural education.However,the rural education has been separated from the new rural development.By discussing the current situations about the rural fundamental education such as aim、content and method,the question is put forward in the paper: What and how is the rural education for the Chinese peasants? And some measures are suggested to deal with the drawbacks of the rural education.
