Developing Rural Hydropower and Promoting Social Economic Development

Rural hydropower,namely the small hydropower is a clean and renewable energy,it plays an important role in energy saving and reducing emissions.The construction,operation and management status of small hydropower and its position and function in Jiangxi Province economy were introduced.Major difficulties and problems of developing small hydropower were analyzed,and the future direction and goals were proposed.
