Abstract

Through the analysis of the characteristics of the navigation obstruction and the incoming water and sediment,as well as the characteristics of waterway evolution of Guniusha channel in Middle Yangtze River,the principles and some thoughts of regulation were put forward.On the basis of river model tests,the general recommended scheme was proposed.It can satisfy the requirements of the long term planning of waterway dimensions.
