Abstract
This paper proposes the main technical problems in the first-stage project of 12.5 m deepwater channel of the Yangtze River below Nanjing city,such as water and sediment movement characteristics and navigation-obstructing characteristics,channel regulation and the timing of key parts,waterway regulation scheme optimization,and waterway’s new regulation structures,and analyzes the solutions to these problems and achievements,which are helpful for the acknowledgement of the construction and understanding of tidal river waterway regulation technology.
