Abstract

Objective To explore the effect of low-dose amiodarone in treatment of fast supraventricular arrhythmia. Methods 81 patients with onset to treatment time of 48h,duration less than 6 months, there are obvious acute symptoms in patients with supraventricular arrhythmias.According to the order of admission, they were randomly divided into treatment group(41 patients, amiodarone group),the control group(40 patients, propafenone group). The treatment group received amiodarone and control group received propafenone therapy.Theemergency cardioversion efficient and adverse reaction were observed. Results The rate of amiodarone cardioversion group and propafenone group were 85.4%(35/41) and 70%(28/40).Cardioversion rate between the two groups were significantly different(P0.05).The blood pressure, heart rate, nervous system side effects of the two group were no significant difference(P0.05).Conclusion It is effective to treat supraventricular arrhythmia with amiodarone.
