Abstract
Objective: To observe the curative effect of methyl-prednisone and methyl-prednisone joint magnesium sulfate in the treatment of severe bronchial asthma. Methods: Sixty four patients with severe bronchial asthma were randomly divided into the observation group and control groups. The patients in the control group were given methyl-prednisone treatment, 40 mg, muscle note, 3 times a day, continuous treatment 3 days; The patients in the observation group were given magnesium sulfate injection, 20 ml, static point, dripping speed 10-15 drops/min, 1 time a day, continuous treatment 3 days on the base of the control group treatment. The curative effect of two groups, patients, PEF, FVC and FEV1 were observed. Results: The significant efficiency was 53.1% of the observation group and the total effectiveness was 87.5%, which were higher than those in the control group (31.2%, 59.4%), and lung function index FVC, FEV1, PEF were significantly better than those of the control group. Two groups of comparison's difference were statistically significant (P0.05). Conclusion: Methyl-prednisone injection joint magnesium sulfate injection treatments for severe bronchial asthma can significantly ease symptoms, It's worthy of clinic application.
