Zhang Zhidong,the last outstanding figure in the end of Qing Dynasty,made the most brilliant achievments of all his life when he was governing Hubei.Zhang had made first-class governance and progress,both in industry,administration of officials,education,and livelihood of populace.He had unique perspective of talents on millitary affairs,major,and the administration of official,which not only safeguarded the ruling of Qing Dynasty,but also introduced some ways of administration and the strategies of talent of the western countries.Although these ideas are profoundly feudal,its perspective and ways to deal with things still have referential values today.
