Therapeutic analysis of procedure for prolapse and hemorrhoids in 92 cases with severe hemorrhoids

Abstract
Objective To discuss the effectiveness of procedure for prolapse and hemorrhoids for severe hemorrhoids.Methods The clinical data of 92 cases with severe hemorrhoids which were treated by procedure for prolapse and hemorrhoids were analyzed retrospectively.Results All the cases were treated successfully.The average operation time was 18 minutes.The average hospital stay was 3.6 days.After a mean follow-up of 12.4 months,no case occurred anal incontinence,anal stenosis,perianal infection and recurrence.Conclusion Procedure for prolapse and hemorrhoids has definite therapeutic effect on severe hemorrhoids with the advantages of rapid recovery and low complications.
