Repair of incomplete unilateral cleft lip with triangle flap on nasal base

Abstract
Objective To repair the incomplete unilateral cleft lip by modified triangle skin flap on nasal base for satisfactory effect. Methods In primary repair of incomplete unilateral cleft lip, a triangle flap was formed on nasal base to lower the upper lip. The incisions at the white part of cleft lip were sutured along a straight line. Results 66 patients had acquired well shape of upper lip with symmetric labial height and integrate philtrum. Conclusion The method of triangle flap on nasal base can be used in repair of incomplete unilateral cleft lip.
