Improvement of unilateral cleft lip repair

Objective To improve the repair technique of unilateral cleft lip.Methods A modified lower triangle flap technique was employed.Some improvements were applied to the design,muscle repair and nasal alar modification so as to achieve better nasal and labia appearance.Results Seven cases of unilateral cleft lip were repaired using this method,and satisfactory results were achieved.Conclusion This technique is proved promising and eligible for nasal and labia deformity correction.
