Abstract
Objective:To observe the effects of purified (LP-1) polysaccharides from Lily (LP) on tumor growth and immune functions in tumor-bearing mice. Methods: H22-bearing mice were used as animal model. The effects on tumor weight and immune function were investigated. Resultls: LP -1 showed inhibitory activity on H22 growth. It could significantly increase weight of immune organs and improved the phagocytic function and content of serum hemolysin in H22-bearing mice. Conclusion: LP-1 can inhibit of H22 tumor growth and enhance both the specific and non-specific immune functions of H22-bearing mice.
