Abstract

Objective:To study the anti-tumor activities and effects on the immune function of Sanghuang mushroom polysaccharide in mice.Methods:S180 tumor cells were inoculated into 40 healthy mice and the S180 bearing-mice model were constructed. The mice were separated into distilled water control group, and the high, middle and low-dose polysac- charide groups randomly, and anti-tumor rates, celiac macrophage phagocytic index and phagocytic rate, lymphocyte prolif- eration rate, serum hemolysin level, contents of TNF-αIL-4 in serum were calculated. Results:The high, middle and low- dose groups of Sanghuang polysaccharide showed the anti-tumor functions for S180 tumor mice, and celiac macrophage phagocytic index and phagocytic rate, lymphocyte proliferation rate, serum hemolysin level and contents of TNF-αwere ob- viously improved. There was no significant effect on contents of IL-4.Conclusion:Sanghuang polysaccharide has the func- tions of anti-tumor and immune improvement for S180 bearing-mice.
