Abstract
Objective: To explore the effect of azithromycin on helper T lymphocytes in peripheral blood of children with bronchial asthma and its clinical application value. Methods: Sixty- four children with bronchial asthma were selected and divided into observation group and control group according to random number table,32 children in each group. The children in control group were treated with routine therapy; the children in observation group were treated with routine therapy and azithromycin; the related parameters of helper T lymphocytes in peripheral blood before and after treatment in the two groups were detected and compared. Results: The levels of interferon- γ( IFN-γ),IFN- γ/interleukin-4( IL-4) after treatment in the two groups were statistically significantly higher than those before treatment( P 0. 05),and the increasing amplitudes in observation group were statistically significantly higher than those in control group( P 0. 05); the levels of IL- 4 and IL- 10 after treatment in the two groups were statistically significantly lower than those before treatment( P 0. 05),and the decreasing amplitudes in observation group were statistically significantly higher than those in control group( P 0. 05). Conclusion: Azithromycin intervention has obvious impact on helper T lymphocytes in peripheral blood of children with bronchial asthma, which plays a good role in immunoregulation and recovery promotion,so its clinical application value is important.
