Study on Practices of Water and Sediment Regulation Mode for Xiaolangdi Reservoir

Xiaolangdi multipurpose dam project is a critical hub for controlling water and sediment of Yellow River.In the process of project planning end designing,lots of studies were performed on the reservoir operation mode based on the reservoir's development targets,especially sediment reduction target.Since the reservoir was put into operation,11 tests and practices have been done on water and sediment regulation,which not only put the long-term study results into practice but also deepen our understandings of water and sediment movement regularities of Yellow River.
