Abstract
Objective To detect the efficacy and safety of anesthesia with fentanil combined with propofol and remifentanil combined with propofol for induced abortion. Methods 160 patients of early pregnancy with voluntarily induced abortion were randomly divided into two groups.Group A(80 cases)was anesthetized with fentanil combined with propofol, whereas group B(80 cases)was anesthetized with remifentanil combined with propofo1.The changes of blood pressure, heart rate, breath rate and oxygen saturation were observed during the anesthesia. The dose of propofol, the time for recovery and leaving hospital and the incidence of abdominal pain after operation were recorded. Results The effect of analgesia during operation was satisfactory in both of group A and in group B;but the effect of analgesia after operation in group A was better than that of in group B(P0.01).The consumed dose of propofol and both the time of recovery and leaving hospital were no different in two groups. Conclusion Anesthesia with both fentanil combined with propofol and remifentanil combined with propofol for induced abortion were safe and reliable, but the effect of analgesia with fentanil combined with propofol after operation was better than that of remifentanil combined with propofol.
