A comparative study of the Web-based model and the traditional model of college English teaching

Abstract

Based on foreign language teaching theories and the results of the field experiment,this paper contrasts the different theoretical bases,teaching designs,teaching methods,teaching results of the Webbased model and the traditional model of College English teaching,and thus summarizes the achievements and experience of the reform in order to give guidance to the success of the reform of College English teaching in the future.
