Acute Cerebral Infarction C-reaction Protein Analysis of the Clinical Significance

Objective To investigate the serum of patients with acute cerebral infarction in C-reactive protein(CRP)levels and the disease severity and prognosis of relationship,and the cerebral infarction prognosis evaluation.Methods Using latex enhanced transmission turbidimetry determinate the CRP content of 65 patients with cerebral infarction within 24 hours,and the level was compared with control group.The cerebral infarction patients were divided into three groups by clinical neurologic impairment score.Results The CRP level of patients with acute cerebral infarction was significantly elevated(P0.01).The content of CRP positively related with the neural function deficit(P0.01).The CRP level of severe group was higher than that of light and medium group.Conclusion CRP is involved in cerebral infarction during inflammation,and CRP levels detection has important significance to assess the severity of cerebral infarction.
