Abstract
Cultured in modified floating tray system, the effects of different media on the development of arbuscular mycorrizal(AM) fungi,as well as the growth and nutrition status of tobacco seedling inoculated with AM fungus were investigated in the current work. The results showed that media No.2,which composed of peat moss(6): perlite(2): vermiculite(2),was beneficial to the development of AM fungi and growth of tobacco seedlings due to the highest dry weight of stalk and root.Among the five tested media, therefore, media No.2 was the best one for mycorrhizal seedling production in modified floating tray system.
