Abstract
Arbuscular mycorrhizal(AM) tobacco seedlings were obtained by floating tray technique.Fungal colonization, plant biomass and nutrition status of tobacco seedlings that inoculated AM fungi ever before(BT) or just at the transplantation(JT) were investigated in the present work.Compared with the AM-free or JT seedlings, better nutrient status and higher biomass were investigated.Furthermore, higher infection rate, earlier hyphal development and more perfect mycorrhizal inner-structure in root cells were also observed. As a result,a slow growth period after the transplantation was obtained in BT seedlings.
