Observation on the sequential therapy of Cefriaxone-Cefaclor in treatment of children with bronchopneumonia

Abstract

Objective:To observe the efficacy of Ceftriaxone_Cefaclor in treatment of children with bronchopneumonia by sequential therapy.Methods:67cases with bronchopneumonia were divided into two groups.Trial group(includes32cases)was treated with Ceftriaxone_Cefaclor by sequential therapy;control group(includes35cases)with successive intravenous Ceftriaxone.To observe the efficacy of treatment,the duration of hospitalization and the cost of treatˉment.Results:The efficacy of treatment hadn't significant difference in two groups(P0.05);the shortened duration of hospitalization,the reduced average cost of antibiotic and total cost for treatment were significant in trial group than in control group(P0.01).Conclusion:To treat bronchopneumonia in children with Ceftriaxone_Cefaclor by sequential therapy may get a certain effect,and it can save medical resources.
