Abstract
OBJECTIVE To evaluate the effect and cost of sequential therapy in children with pneumonia.METHODS A total of 117 children with pneumonia were divided into two groups randomly:sequential therapy group(n=57),injection of vein group(n=60),analysis was based on the effects and costs of them.RESULTS The cure rate was 86.6% in injection of vein group and sequential therapy group was 93.3%,but the costs were lower in sequential therapy group.CONCLUSION Azithromycin sequential therapy is effective to children pneumonia.
