Abstract

In early Qing Dynasty,although the rural society of Luocheng County in Guangxi Province was very difficult to govern,County Magistrate Yu Cheng-long reconstructed the rural order thanks to many favorable factors.This vividly depicted the hardships and success in the process of great national unification in the frontier area.The rural management by Yu Cheng-long not only had distinct spatial-temporal features,but limitations and historical enlightenment as well.
