Abstract
Objective To evaluate the performance characteristics of the immunoturbidi-metric assay for Measurement of C-reac-tive Protein.Method The reproducibility and linearity of the method were determined.A method comparison study was performed using an single diffusion test as the reference test. Results The linearity range was found0.33~42mg /L.Reported values above42mg /L should be diluted and reanalyzed. The coefficients of variation were below5%.The comparison with the single diffusion test showed a good correlation coefficient (r=0.976,CRP values from2.77~28.65mg /L).Conclusion The method is easy to perform,ac-curate,fully automated, and suitable for analyzing a small number of samples.
