Abstract
This thesis discusses the impacts of translation strategies and principles on the internationalization of scientific terminology.The author holds that the translation strategy of transliteration or adopting English terminology directly into Chinese is more beneficial to the internalization of scientific terminology than the traditional one with emphasis on free translation.Meanwhile,English word-buildings and expressions should be adhered to when specific Chinese scientific terminologies are translated into English.
