Abstract
To investigate the influence of hypertension on serum inflammatory markers in patients with acute myocardial infarction(AMI),67 patients with AMI were divided into normotensive group(n=37) and hypertensive group(n=30) and healthy subjects served as control group(n=28).The levels of serum IL-1β,IL-6 and IL-8 at 24 hours,14 days after AMI were determined by ELISA.The results showed that inflammatory markers at 24h after AMI in normotensive group were significantly higher than that in control group(P0.001).The inflammatory markers in hypertensive group at 24h and 14d after AMI were obviously elevated than that in normotensive group and control group(P0.001).The results indicate that IL-1β,IL-6 and IL-8 were involved in the course of AMI.Hypertension seems to promote the inflammatory reaction.
