Abstract
Objective To explore the variation of concentration of serum total bilirubin (TB)and lipids in coronary heart disease(CHD).Methods 155 elderly patients were ran- domly divided into two groups:CHD group(n=97)and normal group(n=48).The levels of bil- imbin and lipids in serum were measured and compared. Results The concentration of TB in serum in CHD group was significant lower than that in normal group(P0.05).The serum trig- lyceride(TG),low density lipoprotein cholesterol(LDL-C)levels in the CHD group were obvious higher than in the normal group(P0.05);high-density lipopretein-cholesterol(HDL-C)is obviously increased in CHD group(P0.05);There is no difference of cholesterol(TC)and apo- lipoprotein B(ApoB),lipoprotein(a)[Lp(a)],apolipoprotein AI(ApoAI)between two groups(P 0.05).Conclusions The low concentration of TB in serum might be a risk factor for old- aged CHD patients.
