Abstract
Objective: To study the role of serum bilirubin in coronary heart disease (CHD).Method: The concentrations of blood - cipid and lipoprotein were determined in normal group and CHD group. The Concentration of serum bilirubin was determined in CHD group, other disease group and normal group. Result:The concentrations of TG, LDL-C, apB and LP(a) were remarkably higher in CHD group than in normal group, but the concentrations of HDL-C and apoA were lower in CHD group than in normal group (respectively, P0.01).The concentration of TG was only little higher in CHD group than in normal group (P0.05). The concentrations of total bilirubin, direct bilirubin and indirect bilirubin were lower in CHD group than in normal group (P0.05), but there were not different about serum bilirubin in other disease and in normal group (P0.05). Conclusion:The low concentration of serum bilirubin was an independent dangerous factor for CHD.
